Fees

Dr. Lahey does not participate on any insurance panels, and is therefore considered an out-of-network provider. All clinical services are billed hourly at a rate of $250. The hours involved with each client varies depending on the complexity of one’s background and the reason for the evaluation. Generally, more complex evaluations will take between 10 and 12 hours and shorter, more focused consultations (e.g., concussion consult) will take between 2 and 6 hours. The fee includes all aspects of the evaluation (i.e., record review, intake interview, testing, scoring), report preparation, a feedback session to review an individualized treatment plan, and any additional care coordination. 

A "Good Faith Estimate" of costs will be provided after the initial consultation and prior to starting the testing portion of the evaluation. Payment can be made by credit card, cash, or check. 50% of the estimated total will be due at the time of the evaluation, the remainder will be due upon completion of feedback.

If requested, Dr. Lahey can provide you with the appropriate documentation to attach to your insurance claim at the conclusion of services if you plan to submit a request for reimbursement to your insurance company. This does not guarantee reimbursement, and Dr. Lahey is not available to follow-up with insurance requests.
